Nude is trending again; it’s official. Already seen on the runway, various shades of champagne, taupe and cream were spotted on Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and W.E star Andrea Riseborough at the 2012 Golden Globes. Stylists say that nude tones are universally flattering, making you look taller and more slender, so it’s no surprise that nude dresses, shoes and separates are going to be hot again this spring/summer. Whether it’s the slightest hint of peachy pink or a soft, creamy beige, it’s a versatile shade that looks effortlessly chic.

There are many ways to incorporate nude into your wardrobe. From blazers and dresses to handbags and hats, nude shades can work anywhere in your outfit. Nude shoes are one of the easiest ways to try this trend without a big investment. A wardrobe essential (you can pair them with anything), they’ll also make your legs look longer! If you don’t want to go overboard with the trend, nude accessories could be the way forward. Pop on a pair of nude-rim sunglasses or add a neutral belt to a little black dress. And if you fancy mixing and matching, nude looks great with black – or pair it with a darker neutral tone, such as navy or grey, to let the nude hue really stand out.

We’ve picked out a few of our favourite nude pieces to  inspire you.
