In 1853, C.H. Harrod acquired a store in London's desirable and prosperous Knightsbridge and Harrods was born. Over 150 years later the brand is still synonymous with style and luxury. Harrods was "modernised" in 1967 when the contemporary young fashion department, Way In, took over the entire fourth floor, and since its launch in 1999 the website has shown the same dedication to customer service as the store.
