Part of Philip Green's Arcadia group, the company is proud of its Great British heritage and was actually conceived at the tail end of the Edwardian era. Inspired by the name of the classic rambling rose, the trading name 'Dorothy Perkins' was adopted in 1939 and today there are over 600 UK stores and 52 international outlets.
